Amelia Island Cabinet Painting

Just to the North of Jacksonville in Nassau County is Amelia Island. We’ve been doing work in Amelia Island for twenty years. It’s a great area with a beautiful seascape. It’s much more tranquil than the bustling beaches of Jacksonville. It’s more of a quiet little town but just 30 minutes from Jacksonville so you still get the best of both worlds.

In this case we had a kitchen that was in pretty good shape but it looked a little dated. The owner had purchased the home in 2013 and they were ok with the layout of the kitchen, they just wanted something with a little more style, something more to their liking.

Saving Money by Painting Cabinets

It just goes to show that you don’t always have to spend $50,000 to get a kitchen that looks like a $50,000 kitchen. This was a large kitchen with a ton of storage space. We chose to do a two-tone look to the kitchen with some dark colors and some white to just give it a nice offset. It ended up looking stunning. They had previously had a quote to replace the kitchen for $50,000. In the end, they did end up choosing to replace the countertops with some granite that perfectly highlighted the two-tone color of the cabinets. This was a fun job to be a part of.
